The short version
Everything you type into a calculator — salary, filing status, contributions — is processed entirely in your browser. It is never sent to our servers, never stored and never shared. We could not sell your salary data if we wanted to, because we never receive it.
This site does use cookies to count visits. Those cookies never see your salary or your answers.
What we do collect
We use Google Analytics to count visits to this site. It records page views, your country, your device type and the site you came from. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. It uses your IP address to work out your country, then discards it. It never records what you type into a calculator.
Our host, Cloudflare, keeps normal server logs. Those logs include IP addresses and are used to keep the site online and safe.
Advertising and cookies
This site shows no ads today. We plan to fund it with display ads later. When that happens, Google AdSense will set cookies to pick ads and measure them. We will update this page before the first ad appears.

Your choices
Visitors in Europe, the UK and Switzerland are treated differently. We tell Google to store nothing for them until they agree. That is switched on already, before any ad runs.
You can delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. You can also switch off Google Analytics everywhere with Google's opt-out add-on.
Your rights
We hold no account for you and no salary data about you. Cookie and device data is still data about you. You can ask what we hold, or ask us to delete it. Write to us on the contact page and we reply within 30 days.
